The functional principle is very easy: The solar cells transform solar radiation into electrical energy. This electrical energy flows directly into the connected device (sakku direct) or is bufferd with a reachargeable battery (sakku akku):

1. Solar radiation hits the solar panel

2. The recharcheable battery is being charged (sakku akku)

3. The current is delivered to the device trough a cigarette lighter adapter cable.

4. The device is being charged

Why do I need a cigarette lighter adapter cable?

You need the cigarette lighter adapter cable to connect your device to sakku (3). We recommend the usage of the manufacturers original cigarette lighter adapters for each device. Thus your devices will be perfectly protected. By the way: There are also cigarette lighter adapters with an USB-Interface available.

Altough there are several universal cigarette lighter adapters available, we do not recommend to use them and we do not sell them, because the protection of your devices can not be guaranteed by using such adapters.
